Inclusiveness

Inclusiveness

The drive for `inclusion' has become a prominent feature in educational policy agendas and school improvement programmes. The term refers to all children achieving and participating despite challenges.

Educational Elements:

  • Tempo
  • Rhythm
  • Melody
  • Found instruments – music can be made out of things you find in your environment. The guest instrument is a fan, and in the live action sequences the children use items from around the home as marching band percussion instruments
  • Ensemble/band – playing together and listening to one another

Musical Concepts Inclusiveness
