While making a sandwich for your youngster, create Ternary form (ABA) by placing your slice of bread – two slices of cheese – slice of bread.
By singing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star it will come to life.
Bread #1= Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, how I wonder what you are?
Cheese #1– Up upon the world so high / Cheese#2 – Like a diamond in the sky.
Bread #2 – Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, how I wonder what you are?
After singing this a few times and having a few sandwiches you can compose your own song by having a conversation of sound between your child and yourself. Passing the melody back and forth with the order of Parent - Child, Child - Parent.
