Exploration of your environment. Using the basic levels for dynamics, create a chart to list or tally the things around your home that create sound and classify them by their dynamic impact. This will bring awareness to how sounds around us are evident everyday.
Tips
Sounds, including music, can be barely audible, loud enough to hurt your ears, or anywhere in between. Scientists speak of amplitude, however, musicians talk about dynamics. An orchestra playing fortissimo (very loud) is going to be much different from a single violin playing ff (fortissimo), therefore making dynamics relative.
