Instructions

Partner game ~ adult and child, or child and child. Sit on the floor across from one another with legs extended in a V shape- feet touching your partners feet. Reach forward to clasp the hands of your partner. Sway back and forth to the beat while singing a song together. For example, if we use Row, Row, Row Your Boat, you might be swaying forward on the first “Row”, swaying backward on the second “Row”, swaying forward again on the third “Row” and swaying backward on “Boat”. Once you have played this partner game several times make it more fun by going faster and faster. Again, try the same with another song you all know well. Use the same idea with songs you hear on TV or radio, even if you don’t know the songs well you can always listen and move to the beat.

    Sit a comfortable distance, and keep in sync
