THE RAZZBERRY JAZZBERRY JAM is here!!
For those of you who dont know, The RAZZBERRY JAZZZBERRY JAM is a show with a whole lot of soul; and pop... and jazz, salsa, rock, country, hip-hop - every music genre under the sun. That's because the show is all about helping you discover a love for music that involves everyone!!!
For kids, aged 3-7, the series follows the adventures of a band of musical instruments called THE JAZZBERRIES! who perform at the liveliest concert hall in town, the HOUSE OF JAM.
There's LOUIS THE TRUMPET, their charismatic bandleader; ELLA THE PIANO, the band's emotional center; BILLIE THE GUITAR, expert strummer and diva extraordinaire, R.C. THE DOUBLE BASS, wise and steady straight man; and BUDDY & KRUPA THE DRUMS, the happy/grumpy comedic pair.
Being part of a jam means there are always GUEST INSTRUMENTS dropping by to play with the band. Guests who have their own individual traits and sounds.
With such a wide range of characters jamming together, it's a wonder that their jam sessions don't sound like demolition derbies. But if there's one thing our instruments know, it's that the jam must go on. Whenever there is a sour note, they do their best to bring harmony. Differences are put aside. Feelings are smoothed over. New ideas are tried out. By the time the curtain rises on the big show each episode, the songs the JAZZBERRIES perform are fresh, exciting, and above all, fun.
As our bandmates explore the dynamics of playing together, basic musical concepts such as pitch, tempo, and improvisation, live action segments highlight children's introduction to musical concepts through the exploration of real instruments.
Collectively, the goal is to ignite children's imaginations by making music inclusive and fun!
Every week we watch The Jazzberries prepare for their next show, learn about music, and discovering how to perform with one another.
The show explores and champions music as a great expression of creativity and fun that everyone can take part in.
Each Jazzberry has a very different personality, with their own distinct strengths and weaknesses.
